Mouni Roy Hot is an Indian television actress. Roy was born on 28 September 1985 in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. Her father, Anil Roy is the office superintendent and her mother Mukti Roy is a high school teacher. She got the genealogy of acting from her paternal grandfather Shekhar Chandra Roy who was a well-known theater artist. Mouni turned herself into a choreographer during her college days. Being a trained kathak dancer, she has also learnt many other dance forms. Thus she has been commended for her excellent dancing skills. She is known for her roles as Krishnatulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi , as Sati in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev and for playing Shivanya(Naagin) in Naagin (2015 TV series). She also played in Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq as Meera.
